Ed Kang, executive president for GODN presented at the 2019 ISODC China Second Annual OD Summit. His presentation focused on OD in a VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex, ambiguous) world, especially in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
Ed used stories from his own life to illustrate how OD could address VUCA challenges for organizations and a potential educational vision for China and the world.

One major point Ed emphasized was the potential competitive advantage of empathy for OD in China. He challenged the conference audience to consider empathy as a way to accelerate the necessary competencies for OD.
